Palisade Fence

A palisade fence is a high-security perimeter barrier constructed from vertical steel pales (also known as pickets) attached to horizontal rails and supported by sturdy posts. These fences are designed to deter unauthorized access and are commonly used in industrial, commercial, and high-risk residential areas. The pointed or rounded tops of the pales enhance the fence's defensive capabilities, making it difficult for intruders to climb.

Probably the biggest difference between mesh and palisade is the installation. Typically, mesh system is 10% shorter at the centre of the post than a fence, which means more holes need to be dug and more concrete poured.

While palisade usually requires fewer holes to be dug, it is made up of smaller blocks and requires crossbars to be inserted into the posts and the pales being fixed to the rails.
